Hey! It’s been 10 weeks since I had Hip Replacement Surgery. This video is an update on how I am recovering from surgery and also catching up on other retirement life events. Enjoy.
Every October I celebrate my birth month (I turned 64 this year). It’s called CHUCKTOBER and I usually do something special each day for my Facebook posts. So here we are 13 days into the month and I have posted 13 different selfies on Facebook.
Today’s selfie is from my annual physical. BP = 126/74, heart rate = 76, weight = 231.8 lbs. Diagnosis= lose weight. Got my flu shot too. My doctor was kind enough to pose for a selfie. Dr. Chris Clark. An awesome dude and doctor.
A quick short to highlight my progress after 8 weeks post right hip replacement surgery. Things are progressing slow and steady. Hip and muscles around hip getting stronger almost to the level of the left hip.
After putting together the last short, I accomplished a couple more things here at the Week 8 marker. Enjoy.
The is the 2nd video in my Tamiya M41 Tank Model build. In this video I prime the model, paint the model, detail paint the model and then bring the parts together for a completed model build. Will there be a Part 3 Diorama Build? Not sure.
I’ve started building scale models again. It’s been four months since I’ve completed a model, and the Tamiya M41 Tank Model was a nice easy build to ease back into model building.
In the video below I restart my model building hobby. Last model completed in April 2025, so it’s been awhile. To ease back into building, I chose a straight forward Tamiya M41 Walker Bulldog Tank. This video covers the assembly of the tank in fast speed. Part 2 will be priming and painting. Thanks for watching.

In this video I mark 30 days post surgery. I have gathered together all the information from pre-surgery through 30 days of post surgery to answer questions about my Hip Replacement Surgery. I had the Anterior method performed on me which has resulted in a much more manageable recovery. I share what helpful tools I purchased and what meds were prescribed as well as the pre and post operations exercises I was given by my Surgeon and his team.
Today, September 10, 2025, celebrates 50 years since the release of KISS ALIVE! I’ve been a fan since Dressed To Kill but this was the album that kicked things to the next level for KISS. Celebrate this day!
